## Platform

Scalables, LLC builds the Daisy platform: small, standalone, plug-and-play lab-automation modules that snap together to form integrated meta-instruments.

- Modules are self-contained instruments (~100 mm × 100 mm footprint) that share one universal circuit board and firmware ("Daisy OS"). A lab buys only what it needs and reuses modules across applications.
- Meta-instruments are multiple daisy-chained modules behaving as one system. Up to 256 instruments can be chained on a single USB connection; one computer can run thousands across multiple USB ports.
- The Daisy Controller App auto-detects network topology at one button press, gives each module a virtual control panel, and runs everything from a Python scripting window. Panel actions copy into the script with correct syntax, so users never memorize an API.
- An AI Assistant generates Python script templates and catches simple errors — "spell-check for Daisy programming."
- Design Services turn a Daisy proof-of-concept into a commercial, branded instrument in roughly 3–9 months.
