Scalables is dedicated to providing excellent customer support and exceptional service. We stand by the quality of our products, and design them to last for many years of moderate use. However, if at any point a Daisy instrument requires repairs or replacements, we’ve got you covered.
Warranty and Service Options
Our standard warranty covers each Daisy instrument that you purchase for an entire year. During this time, we rapidly provide free fixes or replacements for any non-user related malfunctions or rare manufacturing defects that might surface during operations.Â
Beyond the first year, we provide the same rapid turn-around servicing for a small fee — covering shipping, parts and labor. The engagement process is simple: you contact us with your repair request and we quickly send you a discounted shipping label. Once we diagnose the issue and determine the cost for parts and labor, we request your consent to conduct the repairs. If you agree, the instrument is fixed, re-certified, and shipped back to you — all within the course of several days. If you have time-sensitive experiments or workflows to support and need a loaner instrument during repairs, we can provide that, as well.Â
If you would like all of the above to be applied automatically to a Daisy instrument for your post-first-year operations, then consider our extended warranty program. For a fraction of the cost of each instrument, you can get the first-year warranty extended for each subsequent year.Â
Early Adopter Program
During our initial roll-out of the Daisy platform, we will identify and partner with Early Adopters for a variety of applications. The decision to partner will be based on a number of factors, including but not limited to impact potential, diversity of the application and its field, as well as the uniqueness of the particular use case. Scalables staff will work closely with these customers early on, helping them realize their application goals and, whenever practical, documenting the use case as an example to be shared with the larger Daisy user community.
Early Adopters will benefit from quick, easy and extended reach to our support team, who will provide application-specific assistance, as well as setup and programming help. We will also work with our Early Adopters to start identifying the next set of Daisy instrument capabilities that we will commercialize. Hence, signing up for our Early Adopters Program is an ideal way to ensure close attention and service from our support team, especially in the critical first few months of application development.
