Warranty
Scalables Warranty
The warranty period begins on the first day after Acceptance. Upon written request from the Purchaser, Supplier (Scalables, LLC) shall repair or replace, at its option, all parts which become defective if determined to be due to bad material, faulty design or poor workmanship, provided that no complaints shall be admissible unless submitted in writing to Supplier within five days after the time of discovery of the defect or after the time the defect should have been discovered, whichever time comes first, it being understood that the Purchaser shall take reasonable care to discover any defect of whatever nature as soon as possible after taking delivery. All returned parts which are replaced shall become the property of Supplier. Supplier is responsible only for the cost of repair or replacement of defective parts. The Equipment is designed and validated exclusively with Supplier technology parts. The use of non-Supplier parts on the Equipment shall void performance specifications and warranty. The warranty expressly does not cover consumable parts, damage caused by normal wear, faulty maintenance performed, failure to observe the operating instructions, and due to other reasons for which Supplier is not responsible.
SUPPLIER MAKES NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER WITH RESPECT TO THE EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY (a) WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY; (b) WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE; OR (c) WARRANTY OF TITLE WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED BY LAW, COURSE OF DEALING, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, USAGE OF TRADE OR OTHERWISE. Products manufactured by a third party (“Third Party Product”) may constitute, contain, be contained in, incorporated into, attached to or packaged together with, the Equipment. Third Party Products are limited to the warranty offered by their manufacturer and are not covered by this warranty. For the avoidance of doubt, SUPPLIER MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO ANY THIRD PARTY PRODUCT, INCLUDING ANY (a) WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY; (b) WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE; (c) WARRANTY OF TITLE; OR (d) WARRANTY AGAINST INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS OF A THIRD PARTY; WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED BY LAW, COURSE OF DEALING, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, USAGE OF TRADE OR OTHERWISE.
Supplier shall not be liable for a breach of the warranty set forth herein if: (i) Purchaser makes any further use of the Equipment after giving such notice of breach; (ii) a defect arises because Purchaser failed to follow Supplier’s oral or written instructions as to the storage, installation, commissioning, use or maintenance of the Equipment; or (iii) Purchaser disassembles or alters the Equipment outside of conducting routine maintenance as per Supplier’s instruction, without approval or instruction by Supplier.
THE REMEDIES SET FORTH HEREIN SHALL BE THE PURCHASER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AND SUPPLIER’S ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY.
Exchanges under warranty
We only replace items and instruments if they are damaged during shipment or are defective. Exchanges do not reset the warranty timeline.
If you need to exchange an item for the same item, send us an email at support@scalables.com, and our support team will reach out with further instructions.
Risk-free return
Reach out to us at support@scalables.com to initiate returns within the 30 day window.
This limited, risk-free return policy is subject to the conditions that void the warranty (see detailed section above). Return shipping costs, as determined by Scalables, are the responsibility of the Purchaser.
Upon the receipt of the returned product, Scalables will inspect the product to confirm the absence of conditions that void the warranty. If such a condition is not found, the Purchaser will be refunded for the returned item, minus shipping costs for the return.
If such a condition is found, the Purchaser may opt to keep the instrument, with shipping costs covered by the Purchaser. Any repairs to bring the instrument to full functionality, if necessary and requested by the Purchaser, will be extra (as the warranty will no longer cover the instrument).
Warranty FAQ
The Scalables warranty covers the original purchaser of Scalables products. The warranty is non-transferable and only extends to the original purchaser.
The Scalables warranty applies to new Scalables products (e.g., Daisy pumps, Daisy valves, etc.) sold by Scalables, LLC, headquartered at Wallingford, CT, or by authorized resellers. Scalables warrants to the end-user of the products that they will be free of manufacturing defects due to part quality issues or poor workmanship and also warrants that the products will materially conform to Scalables’ published specifications.
The period of coverage starts the day the products are delivered and lasts for 12 months. In the event that your product needs to be replaced, your warranty period will start from the date of delivery of your replacement and will last 12 months from that date.
This warranty does not cover damage as a result of accidents, misuse, abuse or neglect.
During the warranty period, Scalables, at its discretion, will either repair, replace or provide a refund for the defective or non conforming parts. Scalables will bear the cost of labor, parts and shipping.
If you discover a defect or believe your product is not functioning to our published specifications during the period of coverage, please contact Scalables Customer Support through our webpage (scalables.com) or by emailing support@scalables.com. Our Customer Support team will work with you and determine the best remedy for your situation. In some cases Scalables may determine that a return is necessary to provide a replacement or refund. In those cases, you will be asked to print out a prepaid return label, prepare the product for return and ship the product to Scalables.
Scalables warranty is complimentary and included with the order of any Scalables products covered by the warranty.
