Hamilton Arc pH probes put the transmitter inside the sensor, so you get a clean, digital-first signal every time, under every environment — giving you the highest accuracy, precision and peace-of-mind for your measurements. Each probe also stores its own calibration internally, so they can be swapped during operation in real-time. Up to four Arc probes Connect to one Daisy Process module (sold separately).

Note: EasyFerm Plus/Bio probes only come in HB and PHI glass to accommodate autoclave/SIP/CIP procedures.

Hamilton Arc pH Probes

Hamilton’s Arc pH probes are built to accommodate harsh process conditions while providing top accuracy and precision. Measurement and digitization occur inside the probe, avoiding cable-pick-up noise. A built-in temperature sensor allows automatic temperature compensation, and onboard memory stores calibration points for quick swaps without lengthy recalibration.

Here are the three lines of Arc pH probes we carry and support from Hamilton:

  • Polilyte Plus Arc : Rugged, industrial pH probe optimized for chemical/petrochemical, utilities, and wastewater applications. Features dual Single Pore junctions and Everef-L reference. Recommended for general-purpose and industrial lab use.
  • EasyFerm Plus Arc : Biopharma workhorse for frequent autoclave/SIP procedures. Uses pre-pressurized Phermlyte electrolyte, HP-Coatramic diaphragm, and glass options (HB and PHI) for sterilize-in-place/clean-in-place applications.
  • EasyFerm Bio Arc : Designed for hygienic food & beverage and bioprocess applications. Uses Foodlyte electrolyte (bio-compatibility certified) on the Arc digital platform. Ideal for CIP-sensitive applications.

Electrolyte & reference systems for each probe line:

The sterilization capability depends mainly on the glass type:

  • PHI → Best drift in frequent SIP/autoclave (bioreactors)
  • HB → Fastest CIP recovery (food/beverage applications)
  • H → Robust in low-conductivity, utilities, and wastewater
  • HF → HF-containing media / low temps; no sterilization rating

Standard probe lengths (measured from the bottom of the PG13.5 threaded nut to the tip) are 120 mm, 225 mm, 325 mm, and 425 mm. For beaker applications, 120 mm or 225 mm is usually sufficient. For bioreactors with PG13.5 ports, choose length based on vessel size/depth.

Probe tip length can be chosen for the specific application.
Hamilton Arc probes have fixed dimensions, except the probe tip that comes in various lengths.
