Hamilton ARC ORP Probes
Price range: $577.00 through $705.00
Hamilton Arc EasyFerm Plus and Polilyte Plus ORP (oxidation-reduction potential) probes measure a liquid’s oxidation-reduction potential—its tendency to gain or lose electrons—reported directly in millivolts (mV); higher positive values indicate more oxidizing conditions. They’re used to monitor and control disinfection efficacy, redox balance in fermentation/brewing, and biological wastewater stages (oxic/anoxic/anaerobic) for reliable process quality.

Hamilton’s Arc ORP probes are built to accommodate harsh process conditions, while providing the best accuracy and precision in the industry. The measurement and its digitization are actually performed inside the probe, avoiding the cable-pick-up related noise issues that plague other probes. A temperature sensor inside the probe facilitates process temperature adjustments to the pH measurement automatically. Onboard memory directly stores the calibration points on each probe, enabling quick swaps in real-time without lengthy in-situ recalibration procedures.
Connect these ORP sensors to Daisy Process via a VP8 cable, and start recording your oxidation-reduction potential measurements instantly.
EasyFerm Plus ORP Arc is the sanitary workhorse for bioprocess and food applications that see frequent autoclave, clean-in-place (CIP), and sterilize-in-place (SIP) cycles. A pressurized Phermlyte electrolyte feeds a low-drift reference with Everef-F (silver-ion barrier), while the HP-Coatramic diaphragm resists clogging during runs and cleaning. The electrode is a platinum ring for easy wash-down and stable, repeatable ORP response in clean-in-place environments. Form factor is standard PG13.5 with VP8 cabling, so it fits your existing ports and harnessing on the Daisy Process.
Polilyte Plus ORP Arc is built for rugged duty—utilities, wastewater, and chemical streams where media can be alkaline, dirty, or low-conductivity. It uses Polisolve Plus electrolyte with the long-life Everef-L reference and two Single Pore diaphragms to virtually eliminate liquid-junction clogging. You still get digital Arc electronics, PG13.5/VP8 hardware, and a platinum wire electrode suited to harsher matrices. Sterilization capability is there when needed (autoclave/SIP), but it’s intentionally not CIP-rated—reflecting its industrial, non-sanitary focus.
Which should you choose? Pick EasyFerm Plus ORP Arc when you need sanitary construction and fast turnaround between CIP/SIP/autoclave cycles (stainless bioreactors, brew tanks, hygienic process lines). Choose Polilyte Plus ORP Arc for industrial water/WWTP and chemical service, especially when conductivity is low or fouling is likely; its dual Single Pore design and polymer electrolyte shine there. Both families speak Modbus RTU natively, so Daisy Process sees the same register model and device health data you’re used to with Arc pH.

The standard probe lengths (as measured from the bottom of the PG13.5 threaded nut to the tip of the probe) that we support are 120 mm, 225 mm, 325 mm, and 425 mm. For most beaker-based applications where the probe is held by a lab stand and clamp, the 120 mm or the 225 mm long probe should be sufficient. For bioreactors with head plates and PG13.5 compatible probe ports, the size/depth of the vessel will determine the probe length.
